COMPETITION for Warrington Afternoon Women's Bowls League's Savoy Motors Trophy was of the highest calibre but there was no stopping Lillian Hall.
The Garswood golden shot defeated Barbara Beddall, of Bank Park, 21-17 in the final played at Orford Park.
Barbara Barrett and Shirley Griffiths were the defeated semi-finalists.
