THE wedding took place on July 23 of Mark Preston and Lisa Claire Smith. Mark is the son of Malcolm and Ruth Preston of Tarporley and Lisa, a primary school teacher, is the daughter of John and Marion Smith of Hartford.
The ceremony was officiated by the Rev Alec Brown at St Mary and All Saints, Great Budworth and was followed by a reception at the Portal Championship Golf Club.
The bride was attended by chief bridesmaid Rebecca Smith and other bridesmaids Leah Smith and Lucy Buckley. The best man was James Preston and the groomsman was Michael Robinson.
The bride wore an ivory silk strapless gown and train, a short crystal-adorned veil and a jewelled crystal tiara.
Their honeymoon was spent cruising to Belgium, Norway and Iceland.
