I DECORATED my bathroom in March last year and decided to finish it off with new mixer taps on the bath.

After speaking to four different plumbers who all gave me a quote and guaranteed they would do the job the next week, I am still, five months later, waiting for a plumber to actually arrive and do the job.

Are plumbers in Widnes too good to do such a small job?

I am sure that if I was having the whole suite replaced it would have been done by now. Don't tradesmen realise that the best advertising is word of mouth?

If they had come in and completed the job then I would have used them for bigger work that may come up.

As it is there are now four plumbing firms that I would not recommend to anyone.
