CREWE FC boss Ian O'Reilly feels everybody's to blame for an indifferent start to their Mid Cheshire League Division One campaign.
And that includes himself.
Last Saturday saw two defeats out of three at the Cumberland Stadium; Crosfields capitalised on an under-par performance from the home side to run out 2-1 winners.
Dave Hanson provided the second-half consolation.
"The first half was dreadful but we did show improvement ," admitted O'Reilly.
"There were two many under performers on the day.
"I felt this was going to be our year but it's not going well.
"We got a heavy month for fixtures against the top sides with Barnton, Middlewich and Knustford who should all be up there.
"I think this is the strongest squad we've ever had here and it's hard to put a finger on what's up.
"I think I'm as much to blame as anyone. Maybe I'm not pushing as hard as I should.
With four points picked up out of four games, at Rylands, O'Reilly is hoping for vast improvement at Pilkingtons on Saturday.
"To be honest I think we're better away at the moment," he continued.
"That's not an excuse but the pitch is a disgrace and we need to do something about it.
"We've gone for a more passing game this season with more footballers in the side rather than the physical approach so we need it to be right."
