TWO former Warrington Wolves Welsh stars will be bidding farewell to Wilderspool Stadium on Sunday when they play in the summer Conference League Grand Final.
Ex-Great Britain Rugby League internationals Allan Bateman and Kevin Ellis are expected to be in the Bridgend Blue Bulls team that faces Carlisle Centurions in the 12.45pm curtain-raiser to Wolves' penultimate Super League game at the ground, which will be against Halifax at 3pm.
Half-back Ellis is player/coach of the Bridgend side in its inaugural year.
The day's triple header will conclude with the Conference Shield final between Torfaen Tigers and Bolton Le Moors, which will kick-off at 5.15pm.
