DESPITE declaring on 208 runs for one wicket Lymm were defeated by Weaverham in Meller Braggins Cheshire Cricket League Division One on Saturday.
The Lymm bowlers struggled to contain the big hitting Weaverham side and they reached home for the loss of five wickets and with three overs to spare.
Andy Wright had clocked up a magnificent 108 runs not out in Lymm's innings and had good support from Craig Van, 48 and Chris Ray, 33.
Norman Jackson bowled unchanged and took three wickets. Wright also claimed two.
