KING and Queen A have been crowned champions of the elite division in Warrington and North Cheshire Bowls Association's Red Line Recruitment Monday League.

They took the Section A title after leaving second-placed St. Oswalds A, third-placed Grange A and fourth-placed Alford Hall trailing in their wake.

The League's other sections also came to an end this week.

Grange B topped Section B by 19 points from Monk Sports A. Bank Quay A's 12-3 win at Richmonds gave them third sport while Red Lion A and Hollins Park B shared fourth.

Rylands B won Section C by six points from Cadishead Cons. Post Office finished third, 10 points clear of fourth-placed Farmers B.

Burtonwood A wrapped up the Section D title with a 12-2 victory over second-placed Stag A. King and Queen A came third, 18 points clear of Pierpoints A in fourth.

Alford Hall took the Section E title after winning 9-6 at third-placed Tetley Walker C. Monk Sports B finished four points behind the champions in second place while Brooklands B grabbed fourth spot.

The Section F title went to Orford WM C, who were 10 points clear of second-placed Eagle B. Rylands C and Monk Sports C were third and fourth respectively with only four points separating the two teams.

There will be a play-off to determine the winners of Section G as Orford WM B and Kings Club A finished level on points at the top of the table. Irish Club A took third spot, two points ahead of fourth-placed Woolston C.

Section H championship glory went to Red Lion C, who finished six points clear of second-placed Risley PO. Third and fourth place was taken by Orford WM A and Bank Quay B respectively.
