SANKEY sisters Cindy and Sammi Rose are waiting to see if they have made it through to the final of a young impressionists contest.
The youngsters, from Old Liverpool Road, performed in Plymouth alongside acts such as Romeo and 3rd Edge as part of Haribo's national tour.
Cindy, aged 13, transformed into Pink while Sammi, aged nine, became Avril Lavigne.
Cindy said: "Today has been such brilliant fun and meeting the bands was so cool.
"Performing on the Haribo truck stage was quite nerve wracking, but when I got going I really enjoyed myself. I've got my fingers crossed that I make it through to the final. It's so exciting!"
The grand final takes place in London's Planet Hollywood on Saturday, September 27.
Winners will spend a week at the Sylvia Young Academy summer school, appear on GMTV's Up on the Roof programme, and enjoy an all-inclusive family holiday to Florida, with runners up enjoying a family holiday in Greece.
