Mr John Beechall, partner of Mrs Shirley Rowland, died of carcinoma of the oesophagus on August 13. He was 61.
Mr Beechall, of St Katherine's Way, Howley, lived in Warrington all his life.
He was first employed at Lockers Ltd, before moving on to work for various construction companies, but had ceased working a number of years ago through ill health.
Mr Beechall was a keen Arsenal supporter, an avid rugby league and boxing fan, and loved the company of his family.
He leaves his partner, four daughters, two sons, three brothers and two sisters.
A service was held on August 21 at Walton Lea, followed by cremation. The Rev Father Christopher officiated.
Arrangements were made by Knox & Son.
