NEXT week Manchester will see the return of The Electric Soft Parade who are touring the UK with fresh material from a forthcoming new album.
The Brighton brothers, Tom, aged 19 and Alex White aged 21, who make up the band are playing at the Roadhouse on Wednesday.
Their new single, Things I've Done Before, is released on September 15.
The limited edition single, the first to be taken from the album The American Adventure, will be available on seven-inch vinyl only.
The American Adventure is the follow-up to last year's debut album Holes In The Wall, which received considerable critical plaudits, a Mercury Music Prize nomination and the title of Q Best Newcomer.
The album, which has sold more than 80,000 copies in the UK, spawned two Top 40 singles, Empty at the End and Silent to the Dark II.
The new album has been described by the band as "a big step forward."
