ALSAGER Town produced a battling display on Saturday as they went out of the FA Cup.
They were beaten 2-1 at Ossett Albion in the preliminary round clash, the home side scoring twice in the first half.
Ossett's goals came against the run of play when Alsager failed to clear.
Alsager pulled a goal back when sub Simon Wilshaw scored from close range.
Alsager are at home tomorrow to Rossington United in the FA Vase.
