A TEENAGER is getting ready to spend the summer in one of the country's most famous schools.
Holly Quin-Ankrah, from Appleton, will appear in Grange Hill after successfully auditioning for the part of Karen Young in the popular BBC TV show.
The former Bridgewater High School pupil will be filming from July to November, with the episodes screened next January and February.
The 16-year-old, who is now studying fashion at Mid-Cheshire College, said that she was delighted to have secured the part.
"I have had a passion for drama since high school," she said. "I love acting but I also really enjoy fashion and would really like to pursue both areas and hopefully combine both in my future career."
Once Holly has completed her two-year National Diploma course, she hopes to continue her studies at a London university.
