A SMALL army of volunteers turned out to Middlewich Cricket Club to give the venue and grounds a facelift.
Middlewich Cricket Club took part in England and Wales Cricket Board initiative Natwest Cricket Force 2005 on Saturday and Sunday to get the club looking as good as new.
Delighted club chairman Richard Goulding said more than 20 volunteers showed up on both days and worked solidly repainting, and repairing the site in Croxton Lane.
Richard said: "The clubhouse, umpires pavilion and score box now look superb."
Richard thanked the volunteers and businesses that supported the venture including Aiden Devaney, Will Moreton, CPS Building Plastics and Middlewich DIY.
