WIDNES U8s RUFC won the Vale of Lune festival last Sunday in Lancaster.
Being applauded by all present for their passing skills and great open rugby, they won all three pool games against Warrington (40-5), Aspatria (30-10) and Kirkby Lonsdale (35-5).
A semi final win against Fylde (25-10) took them through to a final against old rivals Leigh.
They showed great determination and ability to win 35-30.
