A CYCLIST was knocked off his bike and injured in a road traffic collision on the A54 Oakmere Road at its junction with Well Street.
The incident happened at around 6am when a car turned right out of Well Street and was in collision with the cyclist who was taken to Leighton Hospital although his injuries are not thought to be serious.
Rupert Venables from Winsford road policing unit, said: "A car has come up to the give way sign and given a rolling look, thought it was clear and turned right into the cyclist.
"Investigations are ongoing and we are deciding what action to take against the driver."
