COMPLICATIONS with the planned Thundersprint route have been debated in Parliament.
Weaver Vale MP Mike Hall appealed in the House of Commons for the Thundersprint to include a main road, pointing out that Formula One cars used Regent Street in London in July.
He said: "If it is possible for Formula One cars to do that, why cannot the same be done over 500m on Barons Quay Road in Northwich town centre?"
A Department of Transport decision is expected soon.
