A DEDICATED helpline for people who require urgent dental treatment was launched last Monday.
The line will also help those who wish to receive help and advice to register with an NHS dental practice for regular care.
It is particularly aimed at people who are not currently registered with a high street dentist.
Situated at Crewe Health Centre, Delamere Street, Crewe, members of the public can either telephone for emergency appointments and details of local dentists accepting new NHS patients or if it is more convenient call in to Crewe Health Centre to speak to someone face to face.
Heather Pope, head of dental services said: "This is a fantastic new facility for the local people of central Cheshire.
"The new service will enable members of the public who require urgent dental treatment to be seen straight away, the service will also be able to give advice on the NHS dental practices".
