A LETTER has been sent out to invite more than 50 Leftwich residents to a meeting about the Leftwich leukaemia cases, including the environmental studies that are being carried out on land near to their homes.
The invitation-only event will be held at the Pillar of Salt Pub in Leftwich today, Wednesday.
Only relevant Muir Group Housing Association tenants have been asked to attend the closed meeting.
Clr Dennis Ford, lead councillor for environmental health at Vale Royal Borough Council, said: "This is a very sensitive issue, which is why the meeting is closed and is for invitees only.
"People who have not received a letter and still have concerns can contact us."
