FROM the banks of the Mersey to the banks of the Seine, Halton college students enjoyed a four-day trip to Paris.
Kristen Atkins, Christina Holroyd, Jenni Robinson, Lucy Burgess, Jacob Royle and Anthony Nash went as part of the travel and tourism course.
The first day saw them taking in traditional sights like the Arc De Triomph, the Champs Elysee, Notre Dame and Napoleon's Tomb. And on day two they had a trip to Disneyland Paris which climaxed with a parade of all the Disney characters.
The final day saw a strike shut down the Metro and the museums so the students had to be content with a visit to the Eiffel Tower and final meal.
Still, it's not all bad - next year the trip is planned for New York.
