A LACK-LUSTRE first half saw Mond fall behind in the 34th minutes following a corner they failed to clear.
The only chance Mond engineered was a corner that Robinson headed over the bar.
The half time team talk resulted in a completely different approach, the urgency was evident.
As chances were created, unfortunately they were wasted, Robinson headed against the crossbar, Erickson hit the post when well placed and Moore struck the post twice then forced a brilliant save from the home keeper.
From a break the Maghull forward hit a dipping volley from 25 yards that gave Taylor no chance of saving.
Mond still sought a consolation goal but never put enough pressure on the home defence.
