IN reply to the letter 'Disgraceful policy' (Your views, March 23), I would like to assure D Cooke that I or anyone else in the Lib Dem party are not against special needs in any way at all.
I myself as a Lib Dem councillor have been around special needs all my life, that is my sister and my son, whom I adore.
Most of my family works in the care profession looking after special needs.
I only wish to ensure the protection of the special needs.
