FOLLOWING the General Election announcement, people are reminded that voting will revert to polling stations on May 5.
St Helens borough was one of the first north west authorities to trial all-postal voting but, for the first time since 2002, polling stations are back.
Registered voters will receive an election card citing their polling station and the times that it will be open.
People who have registered for a postal vote will receive their ballot papers by Royal Mail by the end of April.
For more information, call electoral services at the council on 01744 456139.
