to soap school
BANK holiday is a strange time in soap world.
Some (Neighbours) disappear for a while but others save their best storylines for the biggest audiences.
So it is with heavy heart that a soap column comes without a Neighbours entry!
Meanwhile, EastEnders seems to have become like episodes of Grange Hill or Byker Grove.
As if the annoying Stacey's habits weren't bad enough, we now have Johnny Allen's daughter, Ruby. On Friday, we are subjected to a teenage cat fight in the pub about Rosie and Keith (yet more pointless characters) being scroungers.
Maybe it was just me, but who cares?
And anyway, whichever of them did grass up old Keith, good luck to them.
He is a benefit cheat and should be brought to justice - and hopefully caged (bit of politics there, I'll get down from my soap box).
Later this week, poor old Sonia comes closer to deciding what to do about Chloe (or is it Rebecca) - oh, and the Ferreiras have left.
Over in Hollyoaks, there was nearly an appearance by Kylie and little Ellie returned too.
Next week little Tom is set to spark a hunt as to his whereabouts - talk about problem children.
With Mandy and Tony as one set of surrogate parents and OB and Max as the other set, I hink I would run away with him.
In fact, I might just go anyway!
