THEO Holt ran in four tries as Sharks comfortably eased past Westhoughton. Callum Leonard also completed a hat-trick, while Brad Stanway and man of the match Alex Stott crossed twice. Joe McLaughlin, Adam Greenwood and coaches' award winner Luke Boyd weighed in with further tries, and Ryan Botell was the top tackler.

CAMERON Jolley scored four tries as Albion secured a creditable draw against West Bank. Latchford matched their much bigger opposition in an end-to-end match, with Reece Brunt taking the man of the match honours, while Connor Johnson was the top tackler. The coaches' award and the player's commitment award went to Peter Moorcroft and Connor Byron respectively.

RYLANDS suffered their first defeat of the season after running into a skilful and well-organised Hindley outfit. However man of the match Tyler Whittaker did manage to cross twice for Sharks, with Ryan Brown and Kyle Nicholson also going over. Kane Ditchfield was the top tackler and Liam Hill won the coaches' award.

THE entire Latchford team were given the top tackler award as they narrowly lost a highly competitive tussle with Wigan St Judes. Kurt Whitely and unsung hero Jake Upton each went over for two tries, with Sean Withington weighing in with another. James Jones earned the man of the match award.

CROSFIELDS ran in 15 tries as they secured an emphatic victory against Wigan St Judes. Mike Ryder and Ben Steele both registered hat-tricks in a sparkling display of attacking rugby, with Robson Boyne and Alex Newton each touching down twice. Others to cross were Joel Albiston, Bradley Allen, Chris Jones, Ben Sunderland and man of the match Luke Cunningham.

RYLANDS had seven different try scorers as they won their 'derby' clash with Crosfields. Top tackler Declan Jenks went over for a try, while James Clayton, Lewis Charnock, Jack Sherrack, Allan King, Daniel Campbell and man of the match Lewis O'Dea each added a goal to their tries. Jordan Brien, James Russon and Jack Peters all kicked one goal, while Jack Gleave earned the merit award.

LATCHFORD were defeated by Pilkingtons in a hard-fought match. Jack Morgan notched all of Albion's points after adding a goal to his try, while Liam Cross took the man of the match honours after turning in an outstanding display.

TWO evenly matched sides could not be separated as Albion drew with Folly Lane. Shaun Rigby, Gavin Bennion, Nic Snelson and top attacker Sam Coyle all went over for Latchford, with Luke Boden collecting the top defence trophy, while Tom Brady, Lewis Melia and Ben Clarke shared the team player award.

A CREDITABLE team effort was not enough to prevent defeat for Crosfields. Special effort in defence award winner Jonathan Ford and Matthew Hutchings both crossed, as did Daniel Atkins, who also kicked one goal. Mark Richardson goaled once, while Michael Lawless took the man of the match award and Jack Brown earned the coaches' special effort honours. Otis Skyner received the award for the most improved player.

WOOLSTON were unlucky to go down to a narrow defeat against Pilkingtons. Rovers put in an outstanding performance that included tries from Craig Lawton and Nathan Pemberton, with Sean Boyle adding a goal to his score. Alex Ryder and James Rowland were also successful with kicks at goal.

A HAT-TRICK from Grappenhall player of the match Jordan Sherlock helped them extend their winning sequence against Culcheth. Luke Gillooley weighed in with two more tries, while Daniel Harbidge, Liam Hanley, Jack Swindells and Taylor Wheat also got in on the act for Giants. Anthony Atkinson and Sean Clark replied for Culcheth, whose man of the match was Oliver Tyler.

RYLANDS progressed to the semi finals of the North West Counties Cup after a stunning victory at Hindley. Man of the match James Mendeika went over for a hat-trick of tries with Jordan Burke grabbing a brace. Paul Dolan touched down Shark's other try, while Jamie Howard kicked five goals and one drop goal.

LATCHFORD suffered defeat against Premiership leaders Orrell St James after four early tries put the game out of reach. However a determined second half performance saw Jack Probert score to reduce the deficit, and there were good defensive displays from Matthew Lomax and Tom Rigby, while Ben Reynolds and Ross Pendlebury also impressed.
