Bank Quay Bulls 17

NEW Bank Quay Bulls coaches John Fieldhouse and Andy Bennett are setting their sights high for the Warrington Sports Personality team of 2004 winners.

The former Warrington Wolves players are aiming for triple trophy success this season as preparations build for next year in the Premier Division.

Bank Quay, who have gained promotion to the North West Counties Premier Division for next term, already have the Lancashire Cup in the trophy cabinet.

The club's vice-chairman Andy Stevens said: "We're happy to have John and Andy on board - you can't do better than these two. Their aim this season is to win the competitions we're still in, that's the Warrington Cup and the North West Counties Cup, and they believe we can win the Premier Division next season."

The Bulls' quarter-final tie in the NWC Cup takes place at Wigan St Patricks under floodlights tomorrow, Friday, kick-off 8pm.

Their Division One league campaign continued at Adlington on Saturday and a 17-14 success was achieved despite missing several regular first team players.

Fieldhouse was pleased with the effort of the Bulls, especially from the second team players involved in the game.

Bulls' tries were scored by Phil Braddish, Billy Rowan and Dean Braddish, who also kicked two goals and a drop goal.
