Both Stephen Kearney and Gareth Raynor have failed to shake off their respective injuries.
Kearney experienced a reaction to a hamstring injury during training on Thursday morning and Raynor's knee injury, which was sustained last week at Wakefield, has simply not healed in time.
Kirk Dixon and Andy Last have therefore been added to Kear's initial squad.
This is the first time that Last has been included in Hull's Super League squad in 2005 and will wear shirt number 27 if selected.
Dixon, the former Hull Ionians RUFC player, could well cover Raynor's wing berth whilst Michael Eagar misses out again due to a groin strain.
The 20 man squad is as follows:
Nathan Blacklock; Shaun Briscoe; Danny Brough; Garreth Carvell; Chris Chester; Paul Cooke; Kirk Dixon; Ewan Dowes; Liam Higgins; Graeme Horne; Richard Horne; Andy Last; Shayne McMenemy; Paul McNicholas; Tommy Saxton; Jamie Thackray; Motu Tony; Danny Washbrook; Richard Whiting & Kirk Yeaman
