WARRINGTON Schoolboys under 11s fell to a 2-1 home defeat despite taking an early lead against Huyton.
Tom Percival's second-minute strike put Warrington in front but they were behind by half time and, despite late pressure, Warrington could not salvage a draw.
On April 16 the under 11s will take part in the North of England Schools Championships, although their next game will see them host St Helens at William Beamont Sports College on Tuesday.
That will be a dress rehearsal for the final of the Barnet Shield House Cup, which will be held at Everton's Goodison Park on May 9, kick-off 6.05pm. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Chris on 07952 390628.
