THE postponed royal wedding will not be stopping life from going on in Warrington.
The marriage of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, which will now take place on Saturday to avoid a clash with the funeral of Pope John Paul II, might have been expected to cause a bit of a stir.
But as the Warrington Guardian was going to press, borough council officials had received no requests for streets to be closed off for private parties.
However, there are still celebrations planned for Warrington's Asda stores.
Because a specially commissioned cake carrying the caricatures of Charles and Camilla will be on sale in store.
