CONGLETON Skate Park is providing a showcase for the talents of young graffiti artists.
Young people have been working over the Easter break on creating graffiti art at the skatepark behind Congleton Leisure Centre.
Congleton Borough Council appointed the Spearfish Company to provide artists for the workshops.
The council set aside money for the project, and the artists had created drawings incorporating ideas suggested by young people.
The art work was created on Monday, and will be installed at the skate park in the coming weeks.
"It's really exciting to see the art work taking shape, and it will be great when it's installed," said youth officer Helen Terry.
"The standard of work is a credit to all the local young people who got involved."
Congleton Millennium Committee secretary Margaret Williamson said it was excellent news that young people had the chance to improve the appearance of the skate park.
