NANTWICH Independents have announced their new leader following last week's annual general meeting.
Cllr Bill McGinnis, a town and borough councillor for Weaver ward, is to serve as the group's leader in the coming year alongside new chairman, Cllr Steve Hope.
Edith Williams and Bernie Barker have been named joint vice-chairmen, county council candidate Arthur Moran is the new treasurer, and Jenny Masser has been appointed secretary.
Cllr Keith Cafferty has become Nantwich Independents' press secretary.
