Teenagers from the Oxygen youth group spent Monday hard at work decorating the Winsford Centre on Cheviot Square.
The group is based at the Winsford Centre and decided to spend a day of their school holidays making it a more attractive place to be.
Neil Garrett, youth worker, said: "It is a project that will benefit the community and everyone who uses the centre.
"It's great that the kids have got involved in this."
