AN UPSET passenger says a bus driver didn't stop after hitting a dog.
The girl says the dog was hit just before 3pm on Monday on the number 1 Arriva bus from Brookvale to Halton Lea.
Her mum said: "She felt the thud and she was very upset. Whoever the dog belongs to is going to wondering what has happened to it."
Derek Bowes, commercial manager for Arriva North West and Wales, said: "Our driver indicated that the dog ran off immediately and did not appear to have sustained any injuries.
"The driver did not believe there was anything more he could do at the time so he continued on his route and reported the incident to the police at the end of the journey."
