CULTURE vultures at Cinnamon Brow Primary School and nursery are well and truly ahead of the game when it comes to the lifestyles and habits of their European friends.

The entire school joined in the fun to celebrate European Day with each class donning the national costume of a foreign country and spending the day learning about its food and culture.

Rob Gibson, class teacher and European Day co-ordinator, said: "The day was a great success and the whole school really enjoyed the activities. We all feel that we now know a little bit more about the lifestyles of our European neighbours.

"We'd particularly like to thank La Tasca in Didsbury for the kind donation of foods for the day."
