WOMEN are being invited to take part in a twilight walk to raise funds for St Luke's as part of Hospice Awareness Month.

The half marathon, inspired by the annual Breast Cancer Moonwalk, will begin at midnight on Saturday, June 19 and continue into the early hours of Sunday morning.

The event heralds the start of Yellow Month, where hospice workers encourage as many people as possible to help them raise money for the centre.

The women-only Midnight Walk will take participants on a 13-mile tour along well lit footpaths to Bannatyne's Health Club, just past Crewe Station, before returning to Reaseheath College in Nantwich for an early breakfast.

The £10 entrance fee will include a yellow printed T-shirt advertising the campaign, a fitness plan and test at Bannatyne's, a sponsor form and a light breakfast. For further details, call Jane Thompson during office hours on 01606 551246.
