AN auction is taking place this Friday to raise money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.
The event has been organised by John Watts, of Muirfield Close, whose daughter Rebecca died of an aggressive rare form of leukaemia and who was treated by the hospital.
Some of the items being auctioned include football memorabilia, fishing tackle and much more.
The event is taking place at The Pillar of Salt pub in Clifton Drive, starting at 7.30pm.
John said: "The staff at Alder Hey Hospital couldn't have been better.
"They did all they could for Rebecca."
John is still appealing for businesses and individuals to donate items.
