A POLICE inspector has been praised for his work in making Winsford a safer place to live by a community leader.
Brian Roberts, from the Winsford neighbourhood policing unit, has been thanked for his efforts by Mike Kennedy, chairman of Grange Residents' Association.
Mr Kennedy said: "He attended our last meeting and I'm sure the residents would like to thank him for that.
"We found him to be very helpful and I look forward to future meetings with him to discuss issues."
