BARGAIN hunters may be surprised to discover what they are bartering for at a forthcoming Beeston Castle sale.
Auctioneers Wright-Manley are supporting the St Luke's Hospice fundraising appeal by inviting farmers to donate livestock for two May auctions at the Tarporley site.
Kind donors have already pledged two cows valued at £1,200 each.
The mid-month sale of dairy cattle and young stock will take place on Tuesday, May 10. Calves and store cattle will be sold on Friday, May 13. For further information, call 01829 262100.
