FIRE engines were called to a Kingsley home last night after a gas leak caused an explosion.
Three pumps, from Frodsham and Runcorn depots, attended the Beech View Road property shortly before 10pm last night, Tuesday.
Staff from gas piping company Transco were also present.
A spokesman from Runcorn Fire Station confirmed two people were being treated at Whiston Hospital after the blast.
