CELEBRITY chef Lloyd Grossman will be in Warrington tomorrow, Wednesday, when the Pyramid hosts a prestigious conference.

Mr Grossman, chairman of Culture Northwest, will be at Cultivate's inaugural meeting to hear how cultural events can change communities for the better.

Jeremy Taylor, chair of Cultivate, said: "These remarkable stories will generate ideas and get people talking about how culture can help each and every

member of our communities.

"Culture does have an intrinsic value, a value that is inestimable. But it also has the ability to transform lives and add value to the plans and strategies that seek to improve our quality of life.

"The Conference and the Cultivate Stories publication are important steps towards putting culture at the heart of our planning, in the same way as it is already at the heart of all of our lives."

Cultivate is the cultural consortium for Cheshire and Warrington.
