ANOTHER big crowd should pack the Limelight with The Jamm in town, next Thursday.
One of the most popular nights at the mecca, support as usual comes from The Paul Weller Connection making it a massive double-header for fans of the originals.
Hard to believe it's over 25 years since The Jam notched up their first UK top 10 hit with The Eton Rifles, followed by some of the best songs ever produced by a British band.
The whirlwind was all too brief, lasting only three years as they split in 1982.
But their music still lives on and inspires a generation of artists today.
The Jamm are the next best thing on good authority.
Original bassist Bruce Foxton is on record stating: "They're the only tribute to The Jam worth seeing, they stay true to the original sound."
The show will take you back over two decades ago with timeless tracks In The City, Going Underground and A Town Called Malice in a huge set list of 30 songs.
John Southern is critically acclaimed as the UK's number one Paul Weller look and sound-a-like and highlights include appearing on Stars In Their Eyes and touring as far and wide as Europe, Dubai and Japan.
Not surprisingly, he's also the support act with the five-piece Paul Weller Connection, where his vocal talent really excels.
Covering his solo career, expect hits such as Changing Man, Wild Wood and Sunflower. Live from 9pm, tickets are £8.
