WARRINGTON Wizards face the difficult task of repeating last month's shock win against Bradford Dudley Hill Demons on Saturday as they attempt to recover from a disappointing start to the league season.

Bradford return to Wilderspool for the 2.30pm kick-off just four weeks after crashing to a 52-38 defeat against Wizards in the Northern Rail Cup, but the visitors still remain favourites after winning their first two league matches.

In contrast Wizards have suffered losses in their opening two games in National League Three, with Saturday's 18-16 defeat at home to St Albans Centurions coming hot on the heels of a defeat at Coventry.

But head coach Eddie Harris is determined to remain positive, and said: "It is obviously disappointing to have suffered two straight defeats, but we need to knuckle down in training and put things right, and once we regain our confidence we will be fine."

Harris hopes to have influential scrum half Mick Princic back in his side on Saturday after flu, while Alan Kilshaw should also return from injury.

But Clint Rylance will be sidelined for eight weeks after suffering two broken ribs against St Albans, when Wizards were narrowly edged out for the second week running despite a hat-trick from Mark Roughneen.

Warrington did not get off to the best of starts, with Richard Smith's try putting the visitors ahead after 10 minutes.

And things were to get worse as Joe Willsher raced over to put St Albans into a commanding 12-point lead, before two Roughneen tries - one of which he converted himself - put Wizards back in the game.

But Smith crossed again for St Albans, and although Roughneen grabbed his third try after James Brabin's kick had caused confusion, Wizards could not find a winning try.
