What is all the conjecture about regarding traffic problems in Warrington?

We all know how the problems are created, through bad planning, the closure of side streets, reducing three lanes to two, two lanes to one, creating cycle tracks where none are needed, speed bumps, the list goes on and on.

The biggest problem is that too many people live in the town and this is escalating once again thanks to Warrington Borough Council approving endless applications for new properties to be built.

There are new houses and flats going up all over Warrington. Who is going to buy these? Why? People who live out of town and, of course, creating even more traffic and congestion on the roads. What has been done so far in Warrington has created nothing but problems and it is still being added to.

It's a pity we don't adopt a policy: If you don't work in Warrington then you can't live in it. That would reduce the traffic somewhat, go and live in the town you work in and leave the roads for the residents of Warrington.
