LOCAL baker Chatwins will be taking part in fundraising fun as part of National Doughnut Week from Saturday.
The baker, based in Market Street, Nantwich, has thrown its weight behind the fundraising extravaganza, which is held annually in aid of The Children's Trust.
All 18 Chatwins stores in the region, including the Pepper Street shop, will take part in the week, which runs from April 16 to 23.
For every jam and fondant doughnut sold during the week, the firm will donate 10p to the Children's Trust, which provides specialist care and treatment to disabled children.
Company director John Chatwin said: "Last year, we made over £400, and we're looking to build on that this time.
"We've actually increased the level of donation from 6p to 10p per doughnut this year. It's a good cause that we like to get involved in."
