Moore...0 Prenton...10
MOORE missed the chance to confirm their safety in Division Three as they failed to score a single point at home to bottom club Prenton.
They were slow to start against a side they had beaten earlier in the season, and an early try gave Prenton the lead, before a second half penalty sealed the visitors' victory.
Moore seconds suffered defeat in controversial fashion as they 'lost' 22-21 at home to Ruskin Park.
Two tries from Butler and another from Dix-Baker were added to by two Allen penalties, but although the referee acknowledged that Allen also succeeded with a conversion, he failed to mark it on his scorecard and was not permitted to change the score after the match had ended.
