WE received a certificate from the National Federation to congratulate us on 50 years of Fearnhead WI, which we will be celebrating in July.
At the May meeting we will have our usual plant stall.
The two bowls teams are limbering up for the new season and Eileen Todd has organised a walk round Lymm Dam followed by a meal on May 16.
Our speaker for the evening was a well-known face from Flog It and various other antiques programmes.
Adam Partridge of Marshall's auctioneers. was extremely amusing. We could have listened to him all night!
The competition winners for an antique were Sue Morey, Phyllis Redhead and Kath Mitchell. Quiz winners were Joyce Black and Thelma Payton.
Next month's meeting is on May 9.
