THE General Election campaign was launched with a vengeance this week.
And St Helens Council has sent out a reminder to voters who have asked for a postal ballot that they should receive their papers by the end of April.
It will be the first time since 2002 that ballot stations have been used in St Helens.
Candidates for seats in Newton and Golborne (St Helens North, Ashton-in-Makerfield and Leigh) have to be nominated by Tuesday.
So for a full list of the runners and riders for the May 5 ballot, read next week's paper.
