WARRINGTON Ethnic Communities Association (WECA) held its first AGM and community consultation event.
A large number of people from the borough's ethnic minorities attended and were asked to identify the issues that concern them and that WECA needs to address in the coming year.
Members to the new executive committee were elected and the election process was overseen by Warrington's Council for Voluntary Service at Wednesday's event at the Gateway.
Amarjit Grewal, chairman, said: "On behalf of WECA, I thank everyone for their kind support over the past year and assure them that WECA will continue to work hard for the welfare of all ethnic minorities in Warrington."
Warrington Borough Council provided financial support for the event.
