A 25-YEAR-OLD man suffered a fractured cheekbone during an assault in Warrington town centre.
He had left McCauley's pub with a 24-year-old man when the pair were the victims of an unprovoked attack that left them both with facial injuries.
As they waited for an ambulance in Bridge Street he sustained the fracture during another assault.
The attacker is described as white, in his early 20s, 6ft 1ins tall, with short dark brown hair brushed forward into a short fringe, and a long gaunt face.
He spoke with a local accent and wore a long-sleeved beige jumper.
It is not known if the same person carried out the first assault.
Both incidents took place on Friday, March 25, just after midnight.
Any witnesses to either attack are asked to call DC Claire Barber on 01244 613837 or the confidential Crimestoppers hotline on 0800555111.
