SOWING THE SEEDS: Pupils at Over Hall Primary School have started the task of transforming its garden.
The school's gardening club had turned the area into a beautiful garden but their hard work was destroyed following building work at the school.
Sally Ross, the teacher who runs the gardening club, said: "The garden was there for a year until their efforts had to be sacrificed and the area was turned into a temporary car park.
"It was disappointing but we are now going to try to get it back to what it was."
Anyone who would like to donate any plants or shrubs to the children's garden should call the school on 01606 553692.
Mrs Ross is pictured getting the replanting work started with Martin Jones, eight, Kelsie Atkins, eight, Georgia Kerr, seven, and Jessica Bishop, seven. c051714
