A DRAMATIC whodunnit will be tackled by the Byley Players in their version of Francis Durbridge's play House Guest at Byley village hall.

The only child of film start Robert Drury and his wife Stella has been kidnapped but there is no ransom demanded.

All the kidnapper wants to do is stay inside their home for 48 hours and if the couple go along with this request their child will be returned unharmed.

But of course there is more to this seemingly harmless demand than meets the eye and when the police arrive on the scene the Drurys find they do not know who they can trust.

As the story unfolds we discover the real reason behind the kidnapping and during the course of the play several people meet untimely deaths before this complicated story reaches its thrilling conclusion.

There are guns, knives and rope a plenty in this fast paced thriller, which stars Jon Clayton, Simon Jones, John Cartlidge, Paul Woodward, Sara Nicholls and Anna Green.

The play starts at 7.45pm tomorrow night, Thursday, and continues until Saturday.

Tickets are priced £5 and can be booked by ringing 01606 832325 or 01606 834343.
